RawHyde Off Road Riding Clinic 12/11/11

Learn to Ride your GS Off-Road!
Presentation and off-road riding clinic

If you’ve seen the December edition of Motorcyclist and Motorcycle Consumer News you’ll notice a consistent theme. Both are featuring the “adventure bikes”. As anyone knows (who hasn’t been under a rock) BMW invented the category over 30 years ago. They owned the Paris – Dakar Rally for several years. Since that time the “GS” has been used more as an all purpose street bike then something that you use to explore the dirt/fire roads you pass on your way to where you are going.
Brown Motor Works, RawHyde Adventures and BMW want to change your perception. RawHyde is the West Coast Off Road Riding Academy for BMW. We’ve gotten together with them to help you explore the true capabilities of the “GS” line. To that end we’ll be holding a mini lesson and off road ride at the RawHyde facility in Castaic on December 11th. The idea is to show you what the “GS” can do when you start to explore the 95% of the world’s roads that AREN’T paved. The really good news is that the day will be free. All you’ll need to do is call either Ron or Dave to let them know you plan to be there. The number will be limited so the earlier you let them know the better you chances of getting out to explore what your GS can do. If the idea of POSSIBLY dropping you shiny toy doesn’t appeal there will be a limited number of bikes available to rent.
This is an event that will let you know what your bike can do and whet your appetite for more off road riding. Call as soon as possible to make sure you get in on this unique opportunity. There are plenty of roads out there to see and now you won’t be limited by those that are paved.

On Sunday, December 11th, Team RawHyde will offer a FREE dirt riding clinic and trail ride at our facility! RawHyde Instructors will conduct trainings on bike preparation, proper gear, and ride techniques based on the “Official” BMW Off-Road Academy curriculum.
